A celebrated heraldic coin design returns on the Four Nations 2024 Bullion Coin Range from The Royal Mint. Featuring the Lion of England, the Unicorn of Scotland, the Dragon of Wales and the Stag of Northern Ireland, the ingenious design by Gregory Cameron brings the four national symbols together in one harmonious composition. Having first appeared on a coin celebrating the last ‘round pound’ in 2016, the design has been subtly updated for this bullion release. It divides the circular coin table into four sections, with the heraldic animals inhabiting each one and defending the royal crown at the centre. This has been updated from St Edward’s Crown to represent the Tudor Crown, with the precious metal specification also incorporated into the design. Struck as a two-ounce silver coin, this range presents an opportunity to make a first investment in bullion with a celebrated heraldic design.
